It looks pretty gory, but cutting its price point in half was probably a good move for the company. If you haven't been following along with the Overkill's The Walking Dead saga, this is a totally different game than Telltale's vision of the series, and is in fact a multiplayer shooter. If you want to play with a friend who already has all these niceties, you might just want to pay half-price for the Starter Edition. With graphical enhancements, behind the scenes bonus features and faithful recreations of classic menus, this is the definitive way to experience. Starter Edition owners can play new episodes, though, if friends who do own the content invite them to games, but they can't use any specific characters or weapons exclusive to that episode or use matchmaking. The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series contains all 4 Seasons, 400 Days, and The Walking Dead: Michonne, which includes over 50 hours of gameplay across 23 unique episodes. Unfortunately, that means you won't get access to the second season or anything beyond it, and you'll have to buy them separately. That puts it at $29.99, and you get everything in season 1 with it, to boot.
